PENDANT EDGE. Eucalyptus globulus, Tasmanian blue gum.
Campus Drive East near Lasuen St.

Internal edges in a phylogenetic tree connect two internal nodes; a pendant edge is an edge that connects one on of the tips of the tree to an internal node.

Here, pendant edges are formed from the long strips of bark that peel off the branches of an E. globulus.
